We came here based on good reviews. The main course was the fried cod for 2 people, when the tiny plate arrived I was very disappointed because it was very small. The crust of the fish was completely soaked in oil and completely soft and inedible, the side dish was potato chips, which you could leave out and didn't taste good either. I really don't understand why this restaurant has good reviews, it's not tasty, the portions are small and it's expensive.

We just had dinner there, we liked it a lot! I’m a fan of codfish and U searched a lot for the best spot in Lisbon for traditional recipes. Laurentina was the right choice ?
We had codfish cakes (10/10, soooooooo good, I recommend ordering more than one) and then we shared a plate of Bacalhau a la minhota. The serving is for two people so the dish comes in a big portion that the server prepares for you, the presentation was super nice. The side of potatoes is top notch ?
The staff was super kind, our waiter also noticed I was a little bit cold so he turned off the ac for me! I recommend reserving, the area is also super nice so I figure it can get easily very busy on weekends.

Something happened or is happening in this restaurant. Lunch was a complete disgrace, from the starters with super dry cod cakes to the completely dry and tasteless cod... the fritters were soft and the tomato rice was soggy... the desserts took 25 minutes to arrive and were equally disappointing. I have to believe that the Kitchen has changed because the restaurant wasn't like that... now it's not worth 2 stars.

The service was friendly however on the slow side and they were not full when we were there around 10pm. The food was solid, we enjoyed the cod/bacalhau dishes. The atmosphere was nice, we enjoyed the tables outside however it got a bit cool/fresh after 10pm.

We had an amazing dinner here. The service was impeccable, the wait staff were kind and attentive. The food was outstanding! I had the bacalhau in bechamel sauce and my partner had the most delicious, tender octopus we’ve ever eaten. I wish we could have dined there another night. We will be back when we return to Lisbon! The restaurant is in a lovely neighborhood outside of the main tourist area.
