Amazing food, lovely ambiance. We had parma ham and cheese to start which was good, and prawn and veal skewers for our mains - these were cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend. We had to book a table for the evening, as they are usual busy. Our hotel was opposite and it was a popular place to go… it’s a bit tucked away as not on the main strip, which is nice. A bit of a hidden gem!

We got back to our hotel fairly late one evening and decided to give this place a go as we had wondered past and thought it looked interesting. The tables have places where they can hang skewers which was pretty cool - not as good as the food which was great. Friendly staff and good service

We really enjoyed our meal. The skewers in hooks are a fun way to present your food and the side dishes were flavourful! Our table ordered the turkey, pork , and veal with prawns kabobs. The veal was a little chewy but the other dishes were great. Would highly recommend going their for the value and presentation.

Authentic Portuguese food, reasonably priced. Well worth the wait - we tried to visit on a Wednesday but they were closed and went back Thursday and had a truly memorable meal.

Just a few steps away from our hotel (Brown Central) is a fantastic place for a very satisfying dinner. The four of us were greeted warmly, and the menu was clearly explained. Three of us ordered the skewers, with meats ranging from turkey to pork tenderloin to meal and prawns. The other meal was the salmon. All four of us agreed that this was the tastiest, most flavourful meal we have had in Lisbon. Pricing for all four meals with drinks came to just over 90 Euros. Great deal and a great meal. The service and ambience was also top notch. We left full and happy. We would highly recommend adding this to your stay in Lisbon. We topped this off with Gelato from Amorino - again, awesome. Additional notes: pork and turkey were tender and moist while the meal did have more marbling. Veggy medley was very tasty and the potatoes were done perfectly.

We came by friends recommendation, we came to the restaurant without reservation but they found a table for us, the service was very good ?? and the food and drinks ?, the idea of serving the fish or meat on hanging skewer was brilliant ? and well cooked!!

We’ve been in Portugal for 2 weeks enjoying some of the finest meals until we came to this place. We weren’t too hungry from late lunch, so ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for the 4 of us. The head waitress made a nasty face and nastier comment that we didn’t order enough and she then proceeded to go off on the girl who sat us down, as if the girl knew what were going to order. The head waitress then proceeded to serve us undercooked tiger prawns to clearly get us out of there soon. See pictures of the prawns. What a nasty experience. Lisbon food scene is so much better than this tourist trap.
This place was horrendous. The food wasn’t cooked whatsoever. For example we get prawns and veal on a stick and it was completely raw. We asked for medium however what they brought out was still mooing. Also this place had terrible service. One of the waiters announced that we didn’t order enough which was very rude. Every single time I tried asking for something they ignored me.If I were you I would definitely stay as far away as possible from this place.

This place went above and beyond in terms of service and the food was great too. We asked if they did takeout and the lady (the owner maybe?) was hesitant but asked if we were staying close by and said she’d be willing to wrap the plates if we’d return them the next day!! We said yes and ordered 5 dishes. She even took a large shopping bag out of the trunk of her car so we could more easily transport the plates. Standouts were the steak, octopus and the cod. We cleaned and returned everything that evening. She was moderately busy so we were appreciative that she went out of her way to accommodate us despite being busy. Amazing.

We went there for a sea food dinner, we ended up having a full seafood menu (appetizers and main dish), tried a couple of wines to match the food and topped things up with a big plate of mixed cakes. The skewers (espetadas) were excellent, the service was very friendly and prompt (they were the ones to recommend the wines for the food and they guided us well) and the deserts were a bit too many (ok, we should have known better :) - the caramel desert was especially addictive). We'll return tomorrow to try out their other skewers.

We came back to this restaurant after 6 years again. It was one of the places we looked forward to see again in our vacation to Lisbon. We were really happy that after 2 years of pandemic the restaurant was still there. It did not disapoint. The food was even better than our memories. We will come back every evening in this vacation. We had the espetadas, one with seafood and one with veal. Amazing. We particularly appreciated the entry dish, very tasty (pata negra) We were reccomended a great wine to match our food, we are really glad we went with the reccomendation from the server. The lady really knew the wines and she reccomended something that we would love. She was right. After such a full meal, we had a really fresh desert that was reccomend (the lemon pie).

When you pass by - you see a dirty kitchen, the street clothes of the chef are hanging next to the food !! It's TERRIBLE!! The the old woman waitress turned out to be boorish. She is indignant that we came and didn't order the food! But she just didn’t hear it, ignored our order and turned out to be rude !! By no means I do not recommend this institution !!
