For professional reasons (I work nearby) I have been eating at this restaurant for a few weeks now. And I want to share that it was, for me, a very pleasant surprise: very honest cuisine, with a traditional Portuguese nature, with a good quality/price ratio. Whenever I ate there I was very satisfied: Portuguese Stew (Tuesday) very recommendable, excellent beef with grains (one of the best I ate in my life, when I went there, with broth made “in house”), pork cheeks with mashed potatoes (homemade, prepared in the restaurant), etc…

A most iconic introduction to local cuisine in Lisbon. Fresh seafood and Lisbon wine, this place served it up and it was absolutely delicious, no frills, and affordable.Desserts weren't fantastic but they were certainly lovely home made ones which we did not mind at all. We found this place by chance and it was one of our best meals in Lisbon! We were the only non-locals there, traditional Portuguese food, plenty of options in the menu, food was really really good, fresh and flavourful, the kindest staff, great atmosphere, we could chat with people around, the coffee was also excellent.
