Well prepared and quality Portuguese cuisine which, given the prices charged, allows for a good price/quality ratio. Starting with bread and cheese, followed by 6 cod pastries and dishes, 2 half-portions plus 1 dose of octopus rice, some turkey steaks, grilled cuttlefish and black pork lizards. To finish, 4 desserts and 2 coffees. Of drinks only soft drinks and water.
For professional reasons (I work nearby) I have been eating at this restaurant for a few weeks now. And I want to share that it was, for me, a very pleasant surprise: very honest cuisine, with a traditional Portuguese nature, with a good quality/price ratio. Whenever I ate there I was very satisfied: Portuguese Stew (Tuesday) very recommendable, excellent beef with grains (one of the best I ate in my life, when I went there, with broth made “in house”), pork cheeks with mashed...
A most iconic introduction to local cuisine in Lisbon. Fresh seafood and Lisbon wine, this place served it up and it was absolutely delicious, no frills, and affordable.Desserts weren't fantastic but they were certainly lovely home made ones which we did not mind at all. Special thanks to the South Asian server who served us.
