A classic and an icon in Benfica. Who has never heard of this famous pastry? Great cakes! A beautiful terrace in the center of Benfica. Efficient service. A place to always come back!
Very good pastry, but the space needs a refreshing / uplifting, as it has an old design and a lack of natural light, specially in the morning. The outside siting area is well shaded for hot days. I recommend if if you are not going stay there for some time.
Last Saturday (08.03.2023) I ordered a birthday cake at Pastaria Nilo in Benfica and as my wife is very fond of doce d'ovos I ordered it, with sponge cake dough, egg filling and whipped cream topped with strands of eggs. Result? All I can say is that it was AWESOME! We haven't had such a good birthday cake in years. My congratulations. José Soares
