Gem in Lisbon. Traditional Portuguese food at its best. From the outside you would never say it’s a restaurant. Book before u go. This place is packed and u will wait. 100 recommended

Absolutely fantastic, from the starters to the desserts. We ordered all the chunks of meat on the stone and were very satisfied! An impeccable service, with incredibly friendly staff! A very nice detail that we noticed was that they offered a lollipop to all the small children who were in the restaurant, which we thought was divine.
It was a wonderful experience, we will definitely return!
Parking: There is no parking, but there are always lots of cars backed up to the sidewalk and it is easy to park.

Next to Panças and close to David da Buraca, is O Batista, which has a good reputation. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't convince me. I'm not a fan of Naco na Pedra, one of the house's references. The petinga had too much salt and the greens rice was mush (I like it runny, with broth). The Lagareiro-style tuna steak wasn't bad, but the side dishes seemed (re)heated. The dessert was good but not exceptional. The service was very good and the waiting time was short, even though the place was filling up. Anyway, given the reviews I read, I must have been unlucky...
