This place was a bit disappointing to be honest. Extremely touristy and the price is in line with this.

The product is what disappoints the most. Some sardines that were simply fried, an octopus without flavor and tasted like anything but octopus. Careless plating.

The service over the phone was friendly, but then in person we were not attended to as we would have liked. It took them a long time to bring us the dishes, we ordered a drink and it took half an hour when we had finished. We had to ask for the bill 3 times and the price was too expensive for practically not having eaten.

We do not recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. As other reviews have stated, staff brought us bread, olives and cheese at the start of the meal; however, we refused these and weren't charged.

We both ordered the sardines and these came very quickly. Staff also brought us olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. You do have to walk through part of the kitchen to get to the loo, which was strange to me, but is perhaps a cultural difference that I am not used to.

After the Belém tour we ate at this restaurant. The Cod Cakes and Cod in Olive Oil were good. Good place to rest and eat after a tiring morning. Good attention. They charge you for the olives and cheese that they put at the beginning without asking for them, that was good.

I've been going for many years, especially when the weather starts to get warm. Eat well. I recommend the octopus and squid à lagareiro, as well as the pork à la Alentejana. Unmissable are the jaquinzinhos, when available, with tomato rice.

We ate very well, the menu is short, the products are fresh, simple, well cooked. The service could be more cheerful, but nothing catastrophic either. The terrace is pleasant, we have space and it’s in the shade and in a quiet area.

Possibly the worse restaurant of the street. No salt on the food, bad wine, service is unprofessional and it is expensive
