Authentic Portuguese food. The fish was delicious. They showed us the swordfish available so we could choose the fillet we wanted, which in my experience is rare. Everything was fantastic, from starters to dessert. I will go back.

We'd been to the Contemporary Art Museum, then the LX Factory, but didn't fancy the food options there. So I checked on the map and we tried this place instead. We found it very welcoming and chose a whole grilled dorade plus a slice of grilled grouper, with potatos, salad and a litre of nice white wine. Then coffees. That lot came to €31, incredibly good value and very friendly. A bit off the tourist trail.

It's family owned tiny restaurants in the residential area, a little outside of the tourist area. Regulars come and enjoy meals everyday. I came to try grilled sardines, but it qaa not available, so for anyone who wants to try the food from menu, I recommend to call them in advance.However, they offer meal of today as described in the menu, which serves dishes from fresh ingredients. Food probably tastes like Portuguese home foods, but I'm not Portuguese, so i can't be the judge, but I can tell from the customer's expression. The sever was very kind-young man, and I hope he continues to succeed. ?

They sock the dry cod fish in water for 24 hours so it can be less salty. The fish is very tender, moisture with some chewing texture. Mixed with minced garlic and spring onion, the flavour is so good ?
The bread is super good quality? I like the texture very much.
Home-brewed wine is at very friendly price.
The all atmosphere is casual like home. I want to come back to try their fresh grilled fish soon.
