A classic that never fails. On my most recent visit, I ate a wonderful chanterelle for lunch.

For some unknown reason the restaurant was empty ?
It's a shame for the landlord, who was very friendly

absolutely great fish selection and fresh!

Cold food, poor service. Our reservation was at 1:30pm and we only ate at 3pm…we will never go back.

We arrived at the restaurant late, around three. We asked if they still served us and they told us yes. I think it would have been more honest for them to have told us straight away that they wouldn't serve us, because what followed was a fight and a bad mood.
It started when I wanted to sit down, with the waiter shouting from the other side of the room that the table wasn't set yet, and ended with the bill foisted on me, although accompanied by the phrase "feel free".
The quality of the fish is excellent, it is very well cooked, the side dishes (charged separately, when the price per kilo of fish is brutal!) were excellent.
Considering the parchments in the house and the prices charged, I wasn't expecting the "tavern atmosphere".

I went 32 years ago (in 1992) and I returned today. The wonder of good grilled fish and the magnificent attention of its staff remain its great secrets. I will be back! And I hope it doesn't take too long.

Very good turbot, the accompaniment arrived later. They were short staffed for a Sunday with a full room. Our waiter did what he could. Still, fresh fish and at a reasonable price for a seafood restaurant.Nice place ideal for families

The price is exorbitant, it’s just grilled fish and potatoes!I remind you that we are in Portugal. The meal which is bread and a few olives is 20€, as a couple with our two children it comes to more than 400€.It's terribly expensive for basic cuisine, an establishment and collaborators from another era.The servers are nice but they know what they are doing!I eat in wonderful restaurants and this is really the worst value for money.
