Authentic!!!! An incredible, fun atmosphere, current and traditional Portuguese music. Screw they don't reserve, so, lucky, but the tables rotate easily... the food is original and very good... the service advises you well..
The usual thing is to share, but they also have individual dishes

you will love it

Atmosphere is fantastic, happy and positive. Food is traditional with modern twist, and incredibly tasty. Plates are small so one gets to try everything! Desserts were heavenly— we couldn’t decide and so we got one of each. Youthful energy with funky music!

The meals are great but not well served, and the tables and the walls are written and drawn with undesirable sexual stuff that I dont want to see while eating the food. The music is nice and the table service is relatively good.

An excellent example of great food from a small restaurant. Food is King here , busy so book and you'll be very very pleased. Make a reservation, essential.

GREAT place, one of the most memorable ones we’ve been to on our trip. Staff are fantastic (got a free bottle of grape liqueur for a spilled beer!) 100% must visit when in lisbon.

One of the best restaurants in Lisbon, without any doubt!
We made the reservation about 3 months in advance and arrived about 20 minutes before the doors opened. Taking into account that it is in an area very frequented by tourists and with a lot of traffic, it is better to wait a few minutes than to arrive late or even arrive at a tangent. The reservation confirmation email clearly states the issue of the table being allocated to other customers in case of delay. It is recommended to make a reservation in time, otherwise the wait could be long (but it is definitely worth it!).
As soon as it opened, we were the first to enter.
The service was very fast and the service was simply brutal! The food then, there are not enough words to quantify how good it was! It's traditional Portuguese food, but prepared in a more creative and tasty way, which makes your snacks simply unique!
The atmosphere is very young, which conveys a very good feeling of relaxation, whilst maintaining impeccable professionalism!
Another very positive point was the fact that I didn't feel like a "tourist" in a restaurant in the middle of Mouraria. In the service, in addition to being professional, they always speak Portuguese first. In addition to the ambient music being all Portuguese (António Variações, among others).
In terms of price and quality, it is fair, considering that we are talking about a gastronomic exhibition and not a regular restaurant. Because Old Eurico has nothing to do with regularity! It truly is a spectacular gastronomic experience!
I highly recommend it and I expect to be back!
Thank you all very much!

Ok so, where should i start:
1) food is amazing
2) service is amazing
3) vibe is amazing

But unfortunately the waiting policy is an absolute joke. No restaurant in the entire world should let you wait 2 hours without even letting you know how long it might take.

So sorry I have to put this raiting.

In regard to owners response:
We have been two and asked the waitress right at the beginning if it would take more than 45 minutes because we would leave. She just replied that sometimes a little more and sometimes less. Please reconsider your waiting list policy. Marginal creation of a queue just so the restaurant looks more packed, isn’t the best way.

This place had great reviews so we tried to get a table on the second to last day of our trip and there were no tables so we tried again the next day. We came back and chose this dinner on our final day of our trip and the food was not good. We thankfully didn’t have to wait long outside despite everyone’s reviews on waiting. The food looks delicious from pictures but every dish was not good. We got the empanada 5/10, octopus was overcooked with no flavor 4/10, secret pork 3/10 and the hand made cod salad 1/10.

We got the croquettes, orange calamari, lamb and creme brûlée. All of these were absolutely fantastic. The orange squid definitely was a favourite. The croquettes were scrumptious. We waited for 30mins but worth the hype. Highly recommend. Miss the food already!

Simply, incredible. One of the best restaurants in Lisbon. The super fast and extremely friendly service, the homemade food with a refined touch, the cozy space with antique furniture and crockery. It was well worth waiting for the day of our reservation, which had to wait 3 months in advance. We went yesterday, but we really want to go back! The best thing is to book now! ✨✨✨

Simple and good, traditional dishes. The place is very small and a bit spartan, picturesque. The staff were courteous, but perhaps a little slow in service. Without a reservation you have to queue for at least an hour (even if you show up at opening time). In conclusion, the place was perhaps a little overrated, given the waiting time we expected more surprising dishes.
