Not bad, an average restaurant, nothing special to make it stand out. The food is no different from the same typical establishments in Lisbon. For some reason the waiter mixed up the orders and everything fell out of his hands. Food without any special frills or frills.
I’m from California (48 years) grew up in the #1 USA fishing port city by $ value of seafood fleet New Bedford Massachusetts, I had the salmon which is a Cali staple given the abundance of North Pacific salmon. Violino salmon was superlative. The staff was kind and friendly, chatting me up. I told them I would be there in Benfica 3 more weeks then headed to CPV to meetup with an American surgical team on a mission, at which they promptly compted me a glass of superb vinho.

Fish not fresh. Repeated twice, replacing a sea bream with salmon, and the boiled potato, already from another meal and reheated ? other times of restraint, because when I was young I went with my late father to Violino, and always quality meat and fish , but now everything has changed. Even the excess SALT is inedible. I won't be back.
