Just finished a delicious meal at this Gem of a restaurant.
I would 100% recommend anyone to try it and enjoy what is easily one of our top meals since coming to Lisbon. To top of off the guys that run it are awesome, super friendly and warm.
Really fab. x

Nothing to write home about. While they use good quality ingredients, the execution falls short in technique. Innovation requires the right attitude: listening to customers and making adjustments accordingly.
When it comes to pork, this has always been my favorite restaurant in Lisbon. It is sad to see that the environment is increasingly in need of modernization. The menu has few options and the friendliness of the service is no longer the same. With reservations I ended up standing for 10 minutes waiting for someone to look at me, say good night, and make me feel welcome. It's a real shame, it was removed from my mandatory attendance list.

Was one of the most incredible meals we ate in all of Lisbon. Yes I will admit I laughed hysterically when he used the words tongue and testicles but I have to say if he had not told me what was part of the pig had been used I never would have known. My first time having pigs feet ever and one of the best things I have ever eaten. The desert was exquisite. Chocolate mousse heaven. The staff was amazing, patient and kind and willing to explain it all to us in English. Truly a very special place. Do not hesitate to book it and enjoy every morsel.

Overall disappointed with this place. I have been recommended to come here by several friends and unfortunately it did not meet my expectations.
The concept of the restaurant is quite unique and fantastic, but the overall execution was not there. The starters, bifana and the porco preto cut of the day were pretty good, but everything else was mediocre in my opinion. The different parts of the pig (ears, feet, etc.) were all deep-fried, which felt like such a waste… I felt like we were just eating fried “something” and couldn’t enjoy the actual pork parts… Overall portion sizes were also quite small and is overpriced for what is served.
The waiters were a bit hard to catch their attention throughout the dinner (it was full but still). They were also a little bit arrogant and did not make us feel welcome.
Truly wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately will have no plans to come back again.

Delicious meal that felt unique to any other we’d had on our trip. Very inviting & helpful staff. The sandwich, pig feet, and croquettes were the highlight!

All pig everything. Throws it back. If you eat pig just go. And make sure to get the cauliflower
This was the best meal of our entire trip. We had long wanted to come here after our trip was cancelled during COVID, and we are so glad we decided to make another reservation 3 years later. We were welcomed with a huge smile and open arms by the whole team, recommended a perfect tasting of much of their menu, and of course had a local small batch wine to pair. Incredible concept of using every part of the whole pig they buy each week. We will be back every time we are back in town.

It's our first time in Lisbon and we happen to be staying next to the Pigmeu, it was lucky!
We went to dinner today. The place is very welcoming, the service impeccable and the food spectacular.
They explained to us that they work with Iberian pork and advised us perfectly with the menu. The 4 dishes and the dessert we ordered were all delicious. They do everything and it shows.
I should also mention the wine, they work with local producers, they made a selection for us and what we chose was quite a success, although I'm sure they were all delicious.
And finally the spectacular service, super friendly and very attentive at all times.
I recommend it as a must-see if you visit Lisbon.

Very highly recommended. The product and the way of understanding cooking is a 10, taking advantage of every part of the pig. Also, Alberto was charming, we will return!!'

Pigmeu is a very nice restaurant with a lot of potential. We went to snack just before dinner. Overall, the food is very good, although some dishes require a bit more of a flavor balance. The pig feet had a bit too much lemon juice, which was evident when you finished the dish. The meat from the bifana porcalhona was a bit chewy and the bread needed a bit more fermentation (it was too dense). The french fries were delicious but too heavy on the salt. Nevertheless, a place worth going to for their nose to tail philosophy and seasonal menu.
