We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Guimaraes. It was our second or third time we went here it was super like always. We had fish this time as the waiter recommended. It was honestly the best fish we ever had ❤️ The green wine was good too, it tastes a bit like champagne.

Chance upon this local restaurant on our day trip to Guimaraes and what a surprise! The staff were great especially Andre who was super busy but still took good care of us. Food was authentic and delicious, and reasonably priced!! Highly recommended if you want to avoid the tourist traps at the town center.

Accidentally found place on the way to the nearby historic place. Fantastic service and value for money. Recommend to anyone who is looking for something reasonably priced.

Look this place up ! Just a shortish walk from the Historic Centre you will find absolute knockout value food. Bread, olives, fabulous Arca Nova Alvarinho, going so well with the totally fresh massive Robalo for the 2 of us. Followed by one beautiful sweet - for less than €60 - a beautiful meal at a steal of a price. Lookup Travessa do Picato on the map - it's slightly uphill from the centre - but the bonus is, it's downhill going back down - really worth the walk !
