A very good place to enjoy a good moment of fado while having a meal, sharing some snacks or enjoying some good drinks. Welcoming atmosphere, the food is very good. It is not a cheap place, however, you will not find a lower price in this type of house. It's an experience to repeat :)
We hesitated whether to go or not because of the bad reviews, but seeing that all the places in the area were criticized for the same aspects, we decided to take a risk and go. We are very happy because in the end we loved it. It is true that it is not a cheap place, but taking into account that the food was delicious, that the fado was INCREDIBLE (really hair-raising, the singer was excellent and so were the musicians), that the place was very cool, The area in which it is located...
We went to Povo to eat during a Fado concert.
The latter was of high quality (well done to the artists), however the service was long (30 min for a cheese board, forgetting the coffees), some dishes were delicious, like the meat accompanied by celery puree, others left something to be desired (the egg sausage for example which looked like mush).
Apart from this detail, the servers were very pleasant and made an effort to use the language so that everyone could...
