Whenever I'm in Torres Vedras, I'm there for lunch, well served, good food, and always excellent service, I recommend a visit to anyone who wants to eat well, well prepared, thank you to all the staff.

Think of a blessed and receptive Church

We stopped here for a quick coffee and a dessert as one of the kids didn’t feel well after a long day in a DinoPark. The restaurant was closed (it was 15:30 on a Saturday afternoon), but the owner (without understanding our English) offered us a place on a terrace. He showed us the available desserts. We ordered three desserts and two coffees. Generous portions and very good quality of both! We hope to come back at some point for a proper meal!!

Lunch at Restaurante Esquina in Sarge, a small parish next to Torres Vedras. Very busy family restaurant serving Portuguese food with full menus from €9.50.On my visit I started with good bread, olives, a dry cheese with herbs and a buttery taste. For the main course I ordered one of the most requested dishes, the Grilled Cuttlefish with Murro Potatoes and Cooked Vegetables. The cuttlefish were well grilled, not overcooked or raw and the accompaniments were good in a well-served individual portion. It's just a shame that they season the Chocos with Olive Oil and Oil seasoning and not with Extra Virgin Olive Oil.I accompanied it with 1/2 liter of fruity and slightly sweet Mature White Wine. Meal finished with a good Biscuit Semi Cold. The service is friendly and efficient, although it always takes a while due to the large number of customers.All this for just €12.50.Great price/quality.

Stopped here during lunch today and was rewarded with a good lunch! Highly recommended, we would love to come back, especially since the friendly service also answered us in German!
