First of all I have to say that the staff is fantastic. The hotel is centrally located is this is a really nice hotel with updated rooms. Still, there is a big “but”. On the first floor, there is (at night) a bar which is more like a club with a DJ. Altogether quite noisy, a lot of people coming and going, people slamming doors, staying in the staircase and having loud conversations. Also, in the evening, there are a crowd of people at the front door to the hotel and that makes it quite a challenge to enter after 8 pm. They are from the club out for smoke. There was so much smoke it reached our room on the third floor. I feel sorry for the staff who was so kind and helpful, and I’m also sorry for this non positive posting, but the management is responsible for that and they should really do something about this club situation on the first floor.

The location is great, rooms are huge, perfect for a family, and include a living room for the two room suite. The linens, robes, and new Peres so machine are all great touches. Staff is super friendly. Not to be missed.

Hotel is in the best location in Lisboa! Rooms were very nice- on the second floor overlooking the square.Staff did a great job, special Thanks to Pedro and Jahid.Negative was room not made up on two days until late in the day due to Laundry Company not delivering sheets and towels!We returned after a very long , hot day to see our room not made up! There is a nice bar on the first floor. Rooms were relatively quiet at night- surprisingly so! Biarro Alto can be noisy- lots of parties and full of bustling life- we loved it! Again- great location!

Terrible wine. Portuguese wines are much better than this. The Vinho Verde don't usually taste like this. Expensive for such quality.

Joan Miguel, is the only name to remember. She is the greatest host we have been welcomed by. When we asked for tips regarding must see/do she really took her time to ensure a pleasant stay in Lisbon. She had even a more comprehensive list the next, and did not forget any detail about what we found important. She really makes you feel come home! Next time we’ll only stay at Le Consulat Portugal hotel, when Joana is there! The owners are very lucky having her in the team!
