The setting is great, the food is excellent, I took off one star because I find the prices a little excessive all the same.

Absolutely incredible food (Duck Magret and Octopus à Lagareiro).
Friendly and attentive staff, BUT, service in particular from a very unpleasant lady (clearly unnecessary passive aggressive). Several unpleasant moments that this lady made us go through (large group).

Food was really nice and the waiters were friendly except one, who was constantly rude as if it was on purpose.

12-2023 - SPANISHWe went to dinner without a reservation and they gave us a table.A very small letter, but it included everything. As soon as we sat down, they gave us some very well-seasoned green and black olives and normal, toasted bread with oil. And they did NOT charge them.We ask for starters to share:- Croquettes. 3 units, giant. It is not a typical croquette, in fact it does not have bechamel, it is more battered shredded meat in the shape of a croquette. They are served with a small dish of mustard and they are very filling. They weren't bad.For seconds we ask:- Bacalhau to Brass. Which is NOT grilled cod but straw fries with egg and crumbled cod. They serve it in a vintage casserole with a lid and it is incredibly good.- Powdered Rice. Be careful that DUST IS OCTOPUS. Also served in a casserole and also incredibly good. It's like soupy rice with pieces of octopus and lots of flavor. We asked to bring the cod that we couldn't finish, they give it to you in a taper and bag at zero cost.We left room for desserts and ordered:- Bolo Bolacha. A cookie cake. Perhaps what we were least right about. Simple.- Chocolate mousse. Lots of quantity and very forceful, but delicious.ONE OF THE WAITERS SPEAKS SPANISH.The water is filtered served in its own bottles for €2.

I came to Zanzibar for a group dinner. There are several options for the main course, including roast beef, pork cheeks, cod à Brás or green eggs with Russian salad. All dishes were exceptional. The service is very attentive and attentive, they don't even let the glass go empty.

I strongly recognize it, I'm sure I'll come back.

Traditional Portuguese food for dinner tonight- food was good, service was terrible, and people begging for change/food several times during our meal while staff watched….rated 4.6 on several sites….would not recommend….
