Lisbon’s most hidden treasure! You can find the most delicious original Mozambican cuisine with great vegetarian and gluten-free options. It’s just a few steps away from Museo do Fado, almost secretly located in a tiny side street. Beautiful interior and attentive and friendly staff. The soup is one of the best I ever had, and I keep having it weekly, almost daily whenever I’m in the area.
The owner often cooks and stops by to say Hi. Special tip: ask for their unique spicy sauce. They make it over months and it’s fantastic. Highly recommended!

First time trying Mozambiquean cousine and it will definitely NOT be my last. The service and ambient were impecable, the staff was super friendly and in a great mood. The portions are reasonably sized, and everything we tried was amazing. The only thing that lacked was the fact that they were out of stock on the Mozambiquean beer, which I would have happily ordered.

I was accompanied at the end of the night. The food was wonderful and hot. Super service, and bonus for the white sangria, which was wonderful. We loved it and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful experience here during our visit in May! The food was awesome, there were many delicious vegetarian choices. The owner was away, but we had the chance to speak with the cook (forgot his name!) who explained the food and was such a pleasure to chat with. The whole experience was joyous.

We received such kind and attentive service here. It was our first time trying Mozambique cuisine and it did not disappoint. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It’s also such a cute little spot tucked away from the more touristy restaurants in the area.

First time in a Mozambican and I loved the food, the place and the staff. We tried the prawns with the house sauce, they were delicious and the galinha ao amendoins was also very good. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stopped here on our last night in Lisbon on a whim, trying to escape the packed streets late in the evening of festival time. I can't recommend it enough.

I had the coconut crab and (once the cook explained to me how to eat said crab...) I can easily say that it was the best meal I had the whole time I was in the city.
The atmosphere is cozy and the owner was extremely personable. It was easy to forget that we were in a restaurant at all. More like being in a relaxed local pub, maybe.

I wish them every success and I'll certainly be back if I ever visit Lisbon again!

Small place with a few tables indoors. Mushrooms dish was good, get it with rice. Same with the Cassava Leaves dish. Definitely tastes we'd never had before. Very interesting.
