Sal e Brasas is a well-regarded restaurant offering excellent meat dishes, including a spectacular steak, probably the best in Lisbon, and an extraordinary wine cellar. The service is very attentive and friendly, with very friendly waitresses as well as the boss. Located in an agricultural bank headquarters building, it offers convenient parking nearby. The restaurant provides a calm and welcoming atmosphere, with a nice environment and even a pianist on weekdays. The price-to-quality ratio is very satisfactory, offering good value for money with moderate prices, though some may find them high for most budgets. Highly recommended for both budget-friendly and premium meat options, as well as typical Portuguese dishes like a large buffet stew, cod with chickpeas, tomato rice with fried hake, and charcoal-roasted chicken. Reservation is required on Saturday evenings.
