This restaurant truly cannot be described in just words. Over my family's 14 day travels all over Portugal, this restaurant was truly the best. We have eaten at numerous high end restaurants on our journey and this was by far the best. It was empty when we came in around 3:00, so rightfully so we were skeptical but the food was some of the best I have ever had. This was a hidden, hole in the wall spot, which only a few locals came into. I had a huge piece of veal steak and a heaping portion of rice and fries for only 14€. This restaurant was truly a blessing and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Simple place with homemade food. The entrance is narrow but the end offers an incredible reward. I came on the recommendation of a tourist guide, I hesitated because of the aesthetics of the place. But the experience was deliciously devastating. We ate the house specialties: Cod and Octopus. And quenched the heat with blood, Zeus's ambrosia. Totally recommended

This is a small local restaurant with great food and friendly atmosphere, which is what we were looking for. Just perfect! We were early for lunch and it was empty , then it filled up with customers as we had our lunch. Even the beer was fresh and tasty. Also, cleanest toilets I saw during our trip! I would give more stars if I could.

Typical place in Lisbon Found by accident but delicious food Try the breaded cod (I don't know if that's the correct term) with potatoes, and the cod croquettes If you ask for a glass of wine, they give you a glass of wine, completely full. Try the ginjinha at the end of the meal.

Divinely eaten, everything freshly made from the fried calamari that I have never eaten so soft and delicious to the huge slice of tuna with a sublime taste. Family atmosphere with kindness and courtesy of the owner. Top Sangria also the one made at the moment.

After having visited a dozen of local restaurants in Lisbon we can say: this is a small gem of a restaurant. Here you get real Portuguese soul food made with care and taste. We ordered octopus rice and grilled fish - both dishes were absolute perfection that you cannot take for granted in a touristy area like Lisbon. You will probably have to translate the menu with google or use photos provided on the last pages of the menu. That’s because the restaurant is authentic as can be. Service was charming and good hearted. Keep it up!

We came here after seeing reviews and when we initially walked in around 7 we almost left. It was pretty empty, too hot, and no outdoor tables. Wow so glad we stayed! It filled up, cooled off, and the food was amazing! Best octopus of our trip, prawn rice was flawless, even the bread was served warm and crunchy. The clams were also a standout. Definitely don’t miss when you are in Belem.
