The escalope is very good. Our server was very friendly! Prices are a little high for Portugal but we are in the capital by the river.

A regular white wine, a beer and a plate with 15 olives: €10 round. A tease. The waiter is friendly and attentive, but when it comes time to collect they take the knife out of you.

scammers, I ordered an entrecôte that was a mess and on top of that they charged me for some croquettes that I didn't order

Honest Portuguese food, very good quality fish, very fresh and very well grilled, nice and original place, however, a little expensive

We ate excellent cod for its quality and preparation, and some very successful desserts. and best of all, the attention and service of the waiter, Antonio, who is Spanish, and who serves with great kindness and very professionally. Without a doubt, we will return.

We had a food tour of old town Lisbon and this is where they took us. We had a wonderful selection of very well done cod, ‘rice’ that was filled with all sorts of seafood goodies in a pot, croquettes and home made chips. All very delicious! Service was very nice and friendly.

One of the worst places I’ve eaten in a long time - service, atmosphere and food was horrible. Owner is extremely rude, they added bread and cheese onto our order (we we assumed was complimentary) then charged us £6 euros for it, as well as water being £4.50 - unbelievable.Food was bland, made without any care and expensive for what it is. Do not eat here!

A terrible welcome, the waiter welcomed us very badly.Even though he doesn't know how to speak English, he makes no effort to understand us.In the middle of taking an order, he goes to another table to charge for an order. Absolutely unprofessional.

The restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of a fish shop. When we arrived there was only one table occupied inside and outside. We sit down in the restaurant because of the temperature. The other guests inside paid after about 10 minutes, so we were alone. The waiter was unfriendly and rude, slammed bread and butter on the table without saying a word. He took the order, brought the food and already cleared my plate and put a dessert menu in front of me, even though my wife was still eating. Actually, the cellar didn't say a word to us and put the plate away as soon as we put the fork down. The fish was good, the vegetables were completely unseasoned and bland, the two half potatoes were dry.We were alone in the restaurant until we left, no surprise given this experience.

Asked for their specialty. I had octopus and rice, and my husband had cod. It was delicious! Bottle of wine and 2 desserts.

Spontaneous visit to a local restaurant where locals also eat.Food (fish dishes) incredibly good and fresh.Must try if you are in Lisbon. Is close to the market hall (which is overcrowded).Extremely inconspicuous from the outside, but cool on the inside.Very cramped table arrangement.Overall recommended.
