Wonderful local family restaurant. Delicious food. I had grilled sardines, friend had octopus. Very reasonable prices and sweet attentive staff. One of best evenings in Lisbon.

The ambiance is so cute! I ducked into this place while it was sprinkling out and loved the stone walls and intimate setting. Josef was my server and was so kind to educate me on traditional Portuguese feed. I had the Couvert followed by the cod with cream and both were incredible! I also had the house red and it was so yummy. Josef was attentive, kind and funny. I enjoyed my time!

We stopped for some cold beers and we decided to eat as well. The food was good and the staff was very kind. It’s a very nice place if you want to take a break in the afternoon during a hot day under the sun.

Nice place and good spot - and not at least big portions for gat made even my 16 year old buys got enough food The food was good but not great however. Probably a lot what you compare with - and many will probably be very happy with this Great service

We were served by Jose this evening, he was very helpful to explain the menu and throughout the night , prawn starters were the best we had over our 3 days in Lisbon and the fish we ate was excellent, cooked perfectly and the vegetables accompanying it were beautiful. Would say the hike up the steps is very much worth it. Will come to eat here again.
