I ordered delivery. Ordered hummus and paid extra for bread - they forgot the bread. How exactly am I supposed to eat the hummus? Not to mention the fact that bread should automatically come with hummus already.

They didn’t include any utensils either, despite specifically requesting it.

The chips box was half empty.

The sauce spilled in the bag. It was also the wrong sauce. I ordered garlic, not tahini. They sent me spilled tahini.

The serving sizes were ridiculously small.

Will not be eating here or ordering from here again.

Staff were very attentive and professional but sadly, food quality is absolutely not worthy of the price.

On a recent evening in Lisbon, my friend and I decided to change our plans spontaneously and try Sumaya Restaurant, a decision that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

From the moment we entered, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor, which blends traditional Mediterranean elements with modern design, immediately caught our eye and created a comfortable and elegant setting. The staff greeted us with genuine friendliness, making us feel like special guests.

Sumaya is renowned as one of the best Arab restaurants in Lisbon, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The food is expertly crafted to suit Portuguese audience while retaining rich, authentic flavors from the Levant. We sampled a variety of dishes, including sausage, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, falafel, and beef shawarma. Each dish was delicious and full of fresh, vibrant flavors. The beef kofta, our main course, was tender and perfectly seasoned, showcasing the chef's skill.

The restaurant was established by passionate entrepreneurs who aimed to bring the warm flavors of Arab hospitality to Lisbon. Their dedication to quality and authenticity is evident in every dish they serve, and their commitment to exceptional hospitality makes each visit memorable. They also offer halal options, ensuring everyone can enjoy their meals without concern.

I highly recommend Sumaya Restaurant for its outstanding food, high standards of cleanliness, and quality. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Arab cuisine in Lisbon, and I especially recommend it to my fellow Khaleeji travelers.

Beautiful restaurant and very tastefull food! The shared mezze was amazing and the portion was more than enough. The shoarma was a little bit dry, but overall a great experience!

Good experience and good Lebanese food. The space is large and with the doors open wide, there was a lot of cold wind. The service was very friendly but with the recommendations we felt it was too much food, a "table" as they call it on the menu, for two people it was a lot of food that we were sorry we couldn't finish.
