I hadn't been to this restaurant for several years, but today as it was nearby I decided to go. It has changed a lot since the last time I went, from the quality of the food to the service. Until at one point, when we were eating carpaccio, a friend came across a cockroach. An issue that was resolved with a complaints book and the certainty that I will never go to this establishment again. One of the things that shocked me the most, besides the cockroach in the food that no one who prepared it noticed, was the lack of justification on the part of the employees who said nothing about the event.

The waiters speak poor English, it's not a big deal but on top of that they are rather jaded and not very professional. Dish ok but small portions. The toilets weren't even working and I had to go up to the second floor of the center...

Well I kinda have mixed feeling about the restaurant.

The food is delicious and so tasty. Honestly! The price performance is top!

But the waiters/ waitresses not so.
We had to wait to order and we had to wait for our food. We got the all you can eat sushi and the breaks in-between were too long. This is a way to get the people to not it a lot.
We had to wait to pay. So everything took it's time. The restrooms were out of order. You ha e to walk a long way to get to the restrooms.

The sushi is very good. The quality is good and very delicious, that is, between the time it takes to bring you dish after dish, it gives you time to get a degree. My goodness, how slow.

Bad experience, the sushi tasted bad, caused indigestion and the staff constantly forgot/changed orders, made the wrong count and responded incorrectly.
We went for a carvery and had to wait almost 40 minutes between dishes.
Never to be repeated.

I have been coming to this resultant over the years and the quality has gone downhill. Terrible sushi, poorly designed, next time we'll opt for a BigMac, at least I know what to expect with this one. The worst: the service. The employees acted as if they hated us personally. It will cost me a therapy session. PS. As usual, don't expect employees who can speak Portuguese in Portugal.

I opted for the "Rodízio menu" which is non stop for 23€. The amounts were copious and the food generally reasonable.

I was disappointed with the waiting staff. There were 3 service staff and 1 barman on rotation. I was kept waiting 25 minutes between my dishes and no one was looking at me. Noticing that all the service staff had their backs to the restaurant were mostly busy talking among eachother, I made a complaint which was met with the standard excuses and egoistic defensive behaviours. One staff member was seen consuming a juice in the restaurant and I mentioned to the manager (who himself was the disinterested of all) and this staff member came to literally bother me that they didn't appreciate my complaint (which was basically that it's not good to be seen drinking a beverage in front of the bar and in front of customers). Main issue being the lack of concern for the customers and the fact that they didn't seem to care.

Toilets not particularly clean, no separate male or female toilets, need to be rebuilt and look like a cattle feeding area. Also kitchen's proximity to the toilets where dirty plates are piled up for all customers to see is unsavoury and removes the appetite.

People come, people pay so why care?

Otherwise you can fill your stomach until you can't move for a reasonable price.

At lunch they didn't let us use the all you can eat menu. A few too many herbs and spices cover the taste of the fish.

Restaurant where I've been going for years, we arrived at 6:30 pm, we said we wanted 2 "all you can eat" dishes and they said it wouldn't be possible as the restaurant was full and they were only making arrangements! I think it's a shame to have a service on the menu and not provide it, without a doubt a restaurant that is denigrating the image of sushi! I will never go back there again.
