After waiting indefinitely and sightseeing at the monastery, I came home tired and hungry.
There was a wait here too, but it was gone quickly.
It was nice to be guided so kindly.
The grilled sardines were delicious and went well with beer.

Tourists beware. Do not accept a “free” digestif from them. They’ll just make you pay it. Bread is also stale. Avoid lol

Today I ate at Taberna dos Ferreiros with my partner.
We arrived there thinking that the reservation we had made was correct, we went ahead of time and one of the waiters very kindly explained to us the problem they were having with the reservations, since the website allowed people to make them when in reality it is not a restaurant that offers this option. After explaining to us, he invited us to have a drink while a table was freed up.
We went in to eat at the place, a small but cozy place. I loved the atmosphere, you can tell that it is not a restaurant full of tourists but that local people come and trust their services.
We ordered a couple of dishes to share, first the Carpaccio and then the “do ferreiros” style cod (one of their specialties), simply a festival for the palate.
The treatment at all times was unbeatable, we definitely recommend it.

Very quaint little space, well decorated and somewhat reminiscent of an old tavern.
The food was delicious as well as the friendliness of the staff that almost made us feel like we were part of the house. Close to a very touristy area that invites you to take a walk.
I advise.

Deducing from the review of the food and the service, I have to give a fail to the management of the Tavern for not having a solution to the suffocating heat that we suffered during the meal, they should think about having this point resolved in the face of hot weather, Otherwise, I don't recommend it in August, especially, greetings.

Very tasty, innovative food and good price, everything was great, the only downside was that there was no air conditioning inside in the heat in the 30s and all the customers and staff were very hot. If there was air conditioning this store would be perfect.
A wonderful traditional portuguese restaurant with a twist. A cut above the tourist fare in the area.

Small traditional-looking restaurant in Belém. I didn't find my dish as good as the reviews claim, you can find much better in Lisbon. We are seated relatively quickly, this is not the case with table service..
The waiters could be nicer with just a smile. Despite this, the prices remain reasonable for the dishes, the starters and desserts are much more expensive than they should be.
I would like to note that we found an ant in one of our dishes, I don't know if it came before or after table service.

Old school inrichting, stevige keukenbrigade, attente bediening, lekker eten! Een heel goed adres als je echt op z’n Portugees wilt eten!
Prijzen zijn oké. Kwalitatief goed eten. De keuze is niet enorm maar wel zo overzichtelijk. Ook.wel eens fijn.
Verbeterpunten? De plastic menu kaarten. Dat is eigenlijk alles.
