Really lovely authentic Portuguese restaurant. Food was so good I ate it before I could think to take pictures. Pork belly was amazing, as was the aubergine.
Place is small so I’d recommend booking in advance.

Pros: The garlic prawns and sweet potato mash were delicious.
Negative: Mineral water with sparkling water was ordered and still water was brought. After complaining it was exchanged. Then came the French fries (way too salty by the way) nothing else! 10 minutes later the mashed sweet potatoes came, the shrimp still didn't come. I returned both, saying it was getting cold. Then both came back warm, with one! Portion of shrimp. Complained again, then the second portion of shrimp came.
In my opinion, a completely unfairly hyped restaurant. Service and/or kitchen absolutely overwhelmed.

It was okay, not so wonderful how I expected based on reviews. The portion was okay, the taste was a bit salty. I ordered the orange salad and the prawns ( the server didn’t mention that the main course came without the side dish).

Amazing food. Creative and modern feeling but paid homage to classic Portuguese flavors. Service was quick and attentive.

The food is very good and sought after. You will be impressed. It's a very small place and quickly gets over crowded. To try though!

We went on time for the Bolinhos de Bacalao and they are really good and at a good price, with a sauce that accompanies it great, they served us well. Access is not easy, there is no car and it is on a steep slope with the ground somewhat slippery, but it is worth it.
Parking: There is no parking nearby

Nice restaurant with nice Portuguese food.
I ordered some cod fish with tomatoes on top and smashed avocado under. Was a little portion but tasted good since all the flavor were a good mix.
I had some French fries on the side that were a little bit too salty but loved it, plus it had a big portion.
The waiters were nice, smiled a lot and were giving us so much attention.
The atmosphere was cocooning since it was a small place (make sure to book a reservation).
Would be easier to have a menu in our hands than looking at the wall where it’s hard to see some dishes.
Still a must restaurant to visit !

Absolutely delicious dishes, the tomato salad with figs is hands down one the the best salads I’ve ever had and brought the perfect freshness to our meal. Also tried Ray for the first time and I can’t wait to have it again. Really lovely intimate setting, however we went during lunchtime and it was incredibly hot, so take a fan with you!

Restaurantji Recommends
After reading the restaurant reviews, I walked with great expectations.
It is said that most streets in Lisbon can be walked.....
It's not recommended on hot days...
Is it because I walked so hard in the scorching sun?
Is it because my expectations were too high?
It was worse than expected.
I don't strongly recommend it.

The only criticism I have: we made a reservation for 2 people and had dinner at a table of 4 people with 2 people who were completely strangers to us, which ends up taking away all our privacy. Otherwise, the food was absolutely delicious.
Vegetarian options: The menu is based on meat and fish, however there is one or two vegetarian dishes and the side dishes are also vegetarian.
Parking: Open streets around with little street parking, some paid parking also relatively close by
Wheelchair accessibility: No adequate wheelchair access

The ambience and the quality truly made our dining experience. The pork cheeks were phenomenal and the aubergine in yogurt is also a must have.
