A very popular tasca (turned traditional restaurant) with a clear Sporting reference on a main traffic road, it is better to book to avoid long queues in the two salas with an open kitchen making a solid classic menu with great daily menu offers.
We were 2 for lunch where we shared a cheese as a starter, a delicious cabrito in the oven for mains, and chocolate mousse for dessert with coffee and water at only €25/pax.
Parking: If you get there early, you can park right in front

We were visiting Lisbon for few days. Decided to try this restaurant based on other reviews. This is a very popular restaurant and all the tables were booked. They made room for us visitors to allow to dine in by adjusting around as we didn't have a reservation. We then found out that they only take cash and no card transactions. We ran out of Euros and when they found that out, they offered for us to dine in that night and come back to pay them later. Food was amazing, it must be authentic Portugese cuisine with so many locals eating there.
My son who is not a fan of sea food enjoyed and finished his grilled salmon for the first time. Dessert was great too. In the end, we compensated them in dollars as we didn't have enough time in Lisbon to go back to pay them later. We still talk about the delicious food we had at this restaurant even months after we returned from Lisbon.
What an amazing experience. This great experience with their kind hospitality quickly became a highlight of our Lisbon tour. Thanks for accommodating us.

A temple to the Sporting club of Portugal revised as can be seen on the respective walls but inclusive of all alternative trends (as is my case) excellent food, extraordinary atmosphere, and efficient quick service, then just give in and enjoy with a white or red wine or a coca cola

In this review I am going to explain for those who want to know more about the restaurant. The food is excellent, to begin with, but you have to wait a while until a table becomes available, so I recommend arriving early, since you cannot reserve easily and it is quite popular. We recommend the emperor and the powder (octopus), lastly I recommend the "typical" dessert of chocolate and cookies ?. The photos are not very good because the food flew ?
