We had the tasting menu and everything was delicious, a variety of flavours, all innovative and unusual, and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend.

We’d read about this place on HC and decided to go track it down. It’s a bit of a ‘treasure hunt’ to find but well worth it! Initially we were the first customers of the night but it soon began to fill up. It’s not the biggest restaurant in the world so a reservation would be advised if you’re dining any later than 20:00. Our waiter was more than attentive and made us feel very welcome and took the time to explain the menu and its seasonal changes for November/December. We chose to go with the tasting menu which consisted of seven smaller versions of each option on the menu. Each one was prepared and cooked impeccably by the two chefs working that night. The chefs seemed to work in a quiet and professional manner as little communication between them was noticed…… They didn’t need to! The kitchen is open and intimate, you can watch them preparing and cooking the food. The whole place has a lovely intimate vibe to it and we would throughly recommend trying this place if you’re looking for something a little different to the normal plant based options.

In the centre of Lisbona there is a little but very special place called the food temple. We meet there only special people and we had an amazing dinner

We ate here for dinner and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Arriving when the restaurant opened, they were not quite prepared for us inside, so we sat on the steps until we could be seated. We started with a carafe of fresh red sangria and the Appetizer Set. Because they had no DIP, we were allowed to double up on the Caprese and that was by far the best thing in the set. If possible, I would recommend ordering nothing but the Caprese! it's THAT good! After the appetizer, we proceeded with the tasting menu. It was a lot of food and it was great to be able to try a lot of things on the regular menu, but in smaller portions. Some were winners and some we could have skipped, but we were able to try them, regardless. It was also fascinating to watch the kitchen in action. For being such a small space and with so many diners (the place got packed), the chefs did an excellent job keeping up with service. I would highly recommend a visit and if nothing else, ORDER THE CAPRESE!!!

The place has a very nice atmosphere, you can have starters outside at the stairs. The food is good, all options I tried were nice. A must-go place in Lisbon

The food was tasty, creative and the atmosphere outside was great. You must book the tasting menu ahead, however if you miss out, the menu to choose from is great regardless and the plate sizes are small enough that you can choose a few different things to try.

It's been a few years since I've last eaten here and it is amazing as ever. The combination of ingredients and flavour still amazes me. Truly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2025-07-05

During our stay we went to a few vegan places - all food excellent but this was my favourite by far. The menu changes, but we ate: Croquettes, filo pastry parcels in a dreamy broth, and pea risotto. We sat outside on the steps and ate a sweet little table.

We opted for the 8 course taster menu. Everything that came out was nice or fine but there wasn’t anything that made it stand out as amazing. I really wanted to love this but I only liked all the courses. It probably is worth the price but maybe my own expectations were too high. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Venue is nice but slightly out the way.

The place has a great vibe, as the staff. Some dishes are great, others are ok. But it's super worth it to visit, sit outside and enjoy a good wine with some finger foods. It's possible to taste various dishes Updated from previous review on 2025-05-08

More of that kind of restaurants must appear every where in the world. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-05
