The Empanadas were very delicious and are freshly baked upon order. We also tried the local cherry licor which is selfmade as well and it was amazing too. I can strongly recommend you try this place out! We will be back here for sure!

We are glad we stumbled upon Union Empanadas. Sonu was lovely to talk with and very helpful selecting dishes. We had the tomato and cheese, brisket and cheese, spinach, smooth chicken, and sweet potato empanadas and loved them all. Perfect mix of spice and fillings.

Fantastic place to have a quick bite. We walked in for the bifanas, but also tried the empanadas and came back for them another day. The food is delicately spiced, but if you like your food on the lighter side on spices, they also have mild alternatives.
We tried the meat empanada and it was good, accompanied by its mild spice. Located on a lively street in the Alfama neighborhood, it is worth it even if it is just to have a couple of beers.
