PICARETA Restaurant, I had just left the Belém tower and went to use the toilet there, I went in and no one called my attention to anything, I used the toilet and went to leave the restaurant, as I was leaving, a girl arrived and asked me she charged 1 euro, I questioned her, she said it was written at the entrance, I went to see and it was written at the end of the menu in small letters, so I asked her why she hadn't told me before, she told me she tried to tell me but it's lie, I saw that she had just stared at me and didn't try to warn me when I entered the restaurant, in the end, I lost 1 euro, AMATEUR restaurant

We made last minute reservations on a Saturday night and were able to get in quickly. Our food was very good (sea bass + lobster risotto), but when we received the bill they had charged us €9 for a bread basket. We had barely sat down when someone on their staff put it on our table. I’ve never had this happen before and it was ridiculous!

We went to the Charcutaria, a very pleasant space with a terrace inside Vela Latina, a Wine Bar where Sandro treated us in an unbeatable way. We ordered a bit at random and we weren't wrong: everything was delicious, with side views of the mouth of the Tagus. And Sandro was very kind, it turns out that he was not from Cádiz but Portuguese! A true professional. We will be back!! And we are waiting for you in Spain very soon!!
Kid-friendliness: He left us a perfect high chair for our 2 year old.

El lugar es muy elegante. La situación, al lado de la marina, inmejorable. La atención del servicio es muy amable. Los vinos, muy ricos. Los platos principales están bien cocinados, pero la ensalada de cangrejo rey no está a la altura de su precio. Fría en exceso y con poco sabor. Quizá sea culpa de mi paladar, pero 28€ por ella es demasiado.

Restaurant seems nice, good location, unfortunately if you are eager to sit outside your table will be filled with giant ants that are coming from trees or bushes. It’s literally impossible to eat or drink as you have to compete with bugs who’s gonna be faster getting to food. For the nice and pricey restaurant this is kinda unacceptable because it ruins your lunch so we ended ordering only starters as our appetite wore down.
