Where to start? After booking, we were treated to a superb view of the toilets on the pretext that there was no room elsewhere. Long wait to order, with a terrible waiter, ignoring us and getting our orders wrong. Great food but I can't say the same about the service. If you want to organize a group dinner on a shift basis, I don't recommend it because you are not prepared for it. The waiter spent his time rushing us, he was rude. There were two birthdays, it took a long time to bring the cakes and one cake arrived crushed because he transported the two boxes, one on top of the other, with the pretext of not having time. However, dessert plates and champagne glasses were missing, which made it even more delayed. In the end, they cleared the table while we were drinking champagne (they took away my mother's glass while it was still full) and didn't let us drink coffee. In the end they told us that they had a room for these situations with no time limit, they didn't tell me at the time of booking. Anyway, I'll never set foot there again. It's a space that wants to make money rather than serve customers well. Very disappointed with the service. If they were unable to serve a group they would say so and I would be treated better in another restaurant.

It's a good place to go when you're hungry but the food isn't anything special. Table service could be better, not in formal terms, but in a freer and less forced interaction. The steaks I ordered were good, the sauce was good but nothing extraordinary, the quantity of the steaks was good but three of them were undercooked and that takes away your appetite. The boards on which the food was served could be too big for no reason and this means that there is no space on the table to have things and feel at ease. In short, it's ok, nothing special

There was no order collection, if you wanted to order something only on the third attempt (if that) or get up and go ask/pick it up. The food arrived late and at a bad time and was poorly served. Typical restaurant with good comfort food. Indoor and outdoor space, relaxed and friendly service. Great solution in the area, especially for small groups. Very good "value for money".
Parking: I parked on the street on a Friday at the end of the day (which is a good indicator). Free parking on weekends and after 7pm on other days.

Wow! Such a wonderful place. Ok, the service was a little slow but it was one guy looking after all the tables outside, which he did with a smile on his face always! And also, what's the rush? The cod was divine, although perhaps a little salty. Just beware that the portions are huge - we had a '1 person' portion of cod, and '1 person' portion of beef with onions, and we had to clarify that each was actually for one person ? If I'm back in Lisbon I will return here

Finally I went to visit the famous Zé da Mouraria restaurant, I must say that I was a little uncomfortable to begin with, I had made a reservation for 60 people and upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told that our table would be full, to which we immediately showed our displeasure... I must mention that we can give names to the employees, the employee who served us I have to say that he soon found a solution despite waiting 45 minutes... I waited that long and when the orders came I must say that the food was terrible, you could see the flavor that it had been reheated which for a renowned restaurant was a little outside my expectations But it also has its good merits, one of the employees is super polite, the first one I didn't think I had the privilege of calling him to the table and Mr André, by his name, is attentive and came without a doubt to make the night better with his service took away our barriers due to the absurd prices we paid and the terrible service to go there only with the service of this employee who without a doubt saves the house, the only one who enjoys polite, respectful and super considerable approach...

I finally went to visit the famous Zé da Mouraria restaurant and I honestly didn't think it was good to begin with since the moment we arrived we felt uncomfortable due to the way they were treating us. Until I was finally approached by one of the employees named (André) who, by the way, was very attentive, polite and highly professional. I paid well but I expected the food to be better. We ordered cod which was excellent ????, as well as cuttlefish and that was my disappointment because what they served me was pota and not cuttlefish. ????. I was a little disappointed, having heard so many good things about the house and when I went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I was disillusioned.
