Amazing grilled chicken steak with fries and rice. Huge portion. The half portion is enough for one person. The gin and tonic was awesome too. I was fully fed and the meal was delicious. Also very cheap. Recommend it to everyone ?

!!! CAUTION !!!
They charge for the apparently free bread basket on the table plus for every little butter or spread packet you open (added up to over 10€ from a bun and two tiny butter cubes). They intentionally put this on your table when you sit down making it look complimentary. Very deceptive tactics, be careful if you choose to eat here.

Good little neighborhood restaurant. Long wait to get a table and long wait to be served. Typical Portuguese cuisine, fresh produce and generous portions. Very noisy room, good value for money! Small recommendation for the bacalau croquettes which are excellent ?

Great unassuming restaurant, really good food, good service (if a bit rushed, they get really busy at dinner time). Cash only, worth every Euro. It is in a very narrow street that also has tram rails, better no to drive here, parking is near impossible. Make reservations and take an Uber.

Typical Portuguese restaurant with reasonable cuisine and a simple, no-frills atmosphere. Mainly visited by local guests. Value for money is great. For two people with drinks and main course around €40. But quality and more sophistication are always possible in Lisbon, hence “only” 4 stars.
