First restaurant tested in São Miguel. Excellent surprise. Great preparation, excellent service. Everything in a simple and effective way. Fresh fish, fantastic meat, everything very good.
I write this review after going to two of the most recommended places on the island. I still prefer "O Cardoso"

Good atmosphere, without much noise and good price. We ordered the house steak (good but there are better ones), Lirio (a very good fish) and for dessert an Oreo cake and a passion fruit cake (not necessary). One of the best restaurants in the northeast area and it can save you from a pinch.
Very attentive and nice waiters explaining whatever was needed.

You must try local cheese with chilli sauce! Amazing combination, the best cheese you can find here :)) super fresh! We also had fish (the red fish and tuna). Portions were huge! And the fish was cooked perfectly. Ingredients are very fresh! 10/10!!
