A Quinta in Loule/Almancil area is a fabulous restaurant. Excellent service from all the team and wonderful delicious food. 100pct coming back , can't wait to visit again.
Food, Service & Ambience just perfect. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. We dine at this restaurant on a fairly frequent basis and will continue to do so because of the excellent experience we have each time we visit. It does not matter if it is just the two of us or a party of friends, the staff at AQuinta always give us a warm welcome!
Very cosy restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food. Impecable service and fabulous presentation of the dishes. Always a great choice and one of our favourites in the area.
Delicious food, a varied menu and attentive staff. The plates were nicely presented and the portions were just right. The berry parfait desert was gorgeous.
The staff were absolutely charming and helpful. The food was extremely good. We enjoyed our evening so much we intend to return with friends later in the week.
A lovely lunch on the sunny terrace at A Quinta restaurant near Loule. Homemade bread and lovely butter for couvert. Crispy duck with a sweet chilli sauce to start and lamb shank with mash, vegetables for main. A beautiful presented lunch would highly recommend A Quinta
Have very happy memories of visiting A Quinta a few times over ten years ago when it was under different ownership. Decided to go again to see what it’s like now and absolutely delighted we did. Choosing what to order was tough as everything appealed. What we had was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive. My only slight criticism is that each course came very quickly and we would perhaps have preferred to linger a little, but it didn’t spoil the evening. Would highly recommend.
Excellent service, excellent food, cannot fault. Although local to us, this was the first time we have visited A Quinta. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, staff very helpful and polite. All our courses were excellent and with great presentation. Nice choice of wines to suit all pockets. Will definitely return. 5 stars!
A really high quality offer, food impeccable, service excellent, in a lovely and comfortable environment.
Parking: In their own grounds.

A bad experience from start to finish. Our order was taken incorrectly for which we received no apology. When the food came, one dish was cold- yet again no apology for this. Rude staff, who did not see an issue. I would NOT recommend this restaurant- spend your money somewhere that values repeat customers and good customer service!

Having dined at A Quinta before many times, our meal on 25 September was unfortunately poor and has hence led to me placing a review for the first time on here. The staff this evening were very disinterested and at times rude. We had issues from the start of the meal with drinks not arriving 15 minutes after ordering them and starters arriving before the couvert despite our request to have the bread before our starter when ordering. The mains when brought were cold and when we raised this to the managers attention a tureen of reheated sauce was instead brought to our table with a shrug of the shoulders…What the staff are lacking is an appreciation that when things go wrong (as in any business) it is how you rectify things and bring a smile to a customers face that often best deals with a problem. All we got was the bill brought over with no apology or even a disinterested ‘how were your mains?’.When leaving we raised our grievances to the manager who apparently understood all of the issues we faced but at no stage accepted he could have done things better. Overall the main regret I had, other than booking in the first place, was paying the bill…

Have to say the whole experience was first class from start to finish. It could be said the approach to the restaurant makes you a little wary as the immediate surrounds are like any rustic town but being on the hill set back from the road and the view make it a delight. We dined outside but the inside is also very pleasing to the eye and the decor and whole atmosphere very enchanting and not at all invasive. The menu (online) is varied and comprehensive, and everything we ate was so good. The service was great and the wines (by the glass too) recommended to accompany were excellent. Homemade bread rolls were superb as were the various butters and Tuna Pate served alongside. The starters of Burrata was packed with flavour and various textures, as was the foie gras. My main of Pork rib eye was amazing, and the ability to make a chicken dish so different and flavoursome is no easy task - deserts very equally tasty and a treat. Finally I must say the bill was more than fair. Thank you for a very special experience- in my top ten of best ever meals!
This restaurant was recommended by family who had visited a few months ago. We eagerly visited as a couple and found the food average and the service poor. This is surprising given the price. Starters were not particularly tasty but mains were better. Poor range of options for veggie/vegans. Staff were disinterested and not particularly friendly and did not even acknowledge us when leaving. All in all, for the price and hype, a disappointing visit and we will not return or recommend
We love A Quinta it is one of our favourite restaurants. We believe the prawn starter to be the best dish of its kind in the area. Word must be getting around because on our latest visit the restaurant was packed and the service was not as good as usual. The food offering is magnificent none the less!
A Quinta is a wonderful dining experience. The food, ambiance, service, friendliness and value for money are what makes this restaurant a "must visit" when you are in Portugal. In fact we went twice and on both occasions we came away planning our next visit. Many thanks.
