Afonso III is a charming restaurant located in a quiet square, just a 5-minute stroll from the city center. The friendly and helpful staff provide excellent service, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including Mackerel with Tomato Rice, Turkey and Mushrooms in a cream sauce, and Cuttlefish with rice and chips. The homemade Trio De Algarve dessert is also a highlight.
