Went there for lunch yesterday. My wife had chicken with potatoes, I had pork with mussels and salad. Both dishes very tasty and big portions. The owner spoke good English,he was very friendly. This is the place where the locals eat,always a good sign. We both had dessert, I had rice pudding, my wife fruit. The next time I am in Loulé I will go to Apolo restaurant again.

We arrived in Loulé on sunday and wanted somewhere quick and easy for lunch. Picked Apolo because it looked like somewhere the locals went. And we were right. Inside was full of local people having their sunday meal. We, the tourists, of course opted for the sunny tables outside.The portions were extremely generous and affordable. All washed down by a carafe of red wine shared. English was not a problem. If we stayed longer, would have visited again. Next time.
