We enjoy all the vegan options at IKEA. The hot dogs are great, the vegan chocolate oat ice cream is delicious when they have it. It is not always available. Upstairs in the restaurant the vegan meatball plate is yummy, and the also have vegetable soup and sour cream and onion chips that are vegan! All around a good dining experience with children. Free refills on the drinks are great too!
The bistro serves vegan hotdogs which are great, although a bit small. Cannot complain for the price but would recommend getting two. Can add toppings of Cabbage, gherkins and crispy onions. Restaurant offers vegetable or plantballs made from plant protein. Shop also offers variety of goods to take home includung frozen meatballs - the Plantballs (vegan) are very good! #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2024-01-28
Spacious atmosphere, calm music and diversity.
Very tasty food. 12 meat balls, mash, broccoli with their special gravy. Water with fruit cocktail. Strongly recommend you visit before you shop in MAR shopping centre (design outlet centre)

Thoroughly enjoyable. I had a portion of Meatballs with mash and broccoli. My partner had the Pork Hock. Both very good and the Pork Hock was plentiful and extremely tasty. No...will never be 5 star however despite a slight mix up with the bill (soon sorted) the service was very good. Spacious. Clean and tidy. We would return ?
The restaurant itself has a pleasant setting. The terrace is quite pleasant to sit outside. However, the setting is let down by the food. The meatballs were luke-warm but the broccoli was cold. The fries were relatively tasteless. The standard was lower than Ikea's in other countries.
