During our trip to the coast we took a short stop to have some lunch. Its a typical Portugese place were they serve local food. The quality is ok. compared with the prices they charge. The waiter was a very young but very friendly boy. The restaurant also sells all kind of pottery and dishware.
We had dinner there. It was nice enough to eat outside but a bit crowded, so we ate inside. It didn't really matter where we ate, because the flies were on us everywhere. When we were seated, the waiter/owner (?) pointed out three things on the menu. We weren't sure if he meant that's all he had or those were especially good, but either way, there were three of us, so we ordered one of each. What came? 1) a steak with egg on it. Beautifully pieced together cafe, serving nice coffee and good food. Holds its history in high regard, and pays tribute to it's past in the right way. A wonderful spot for a coffee.
