Have a nice meal here, we both had the sea bream, which was served with potatoes and the first time in our holiday - vegetables! Most places only seem to serve potatoes and you buy a side salad. We had the bread, olives and sardine pate to start, and a half litre of house red. Nice coffee. Enjoyable meal, felt pretty full, good service.

O Pescador is a great place. Simple food, friendly service, no frills. It’s not for nothing that Pescador is always pleasantly busy even when neighboring restaurants are empty. Highly recommended!

We came for lunch in this restaurant which borders the Loulé market. The welcome is friendly. The proposed menu is very good. The dishes are good, fresh and homemade. 4 of us ate for 59th, unbeatable for the region.

Sitting outside in the glorious sunshine was brilliant. We had fresh local bread and delicious olives. The service was fine. We are the chicken and sardines. Both were ok. The sardines a little dry. This is a lovely local restaurant busy at lunchtime with tourists and locals but not hectic.

What can I say, easily the nicest fish I’ve ever had. This is authentic Portuguese food at its finest with excellent service added into the mix. The first sign this was a place worth visiting, was the large number of locals (always a great sign). The grilled fish was simply outstanding

Fresh fish cooked to perfection, in generous portions, and serviced with new potatoes along with vegetables. Simple and very tasty. What you want from a relaxing family holiday lunch. Don't worry if younger family members don't like fish - they have other options - including a rather nice plain hamburger with chips and rice. My advice is to get there early for lunch - especially on Saturday market days - order a nice big glass of white wine, sit back, and enjoy. My lovely wife and daughter joined me for lunch at O Pescador (the fisherman) situated alongside the Loulé Municipal Market. We chose to sit inside as it was slightly cooler and the outer area was full. We found a very helpful waitress who spoke good English and ordered drinks. The menus are in 3 languages so easy for tourists to navigate. My daughter and I ordered a hamburger and chips. What a shock to discover that it consisted of 2 processed meat patties and soggy chips - absolutely no garnishing at all, and I mean nothing. My wife chose the grilled salmon and veggies which was a large and tasty portion and I shared a bit. The beers and wine was cold, service a bit slow in this family run restaurant

Me and a friend both on a night out walked past this restaurant and thought of stopping for a meal. Wrong idea! Alt ought the atmosphere is nice and the wine list is … acceptable, the dreadful food puts it all to shame! I have never had a sirloin steak made out of PORK and been told repeatedly that it wasn’t… i wasn’t born yesterday, there’s a fine difference between pork and veal. I was offered several times a replacement meal wich I refused with the understanding that they couldn’t remove any meals from the bill “wich in the end they magically could” to be served poor quality meat and a sarcastic apology! Paid the bill and you won’t be seeing a cent more from me! Avoid
