We discovered Charlotte's in the final few days of our 5 week holiday. Part of me is pleased I didn't find it on day 1 because I'd be going home 5 stone heavier! An ordinary but extraordinary little bakery making bread,croissants pastille de Nata and other cakes of amazing quality. Not touristy. Very cheap and very fabulous
They still do the best partries and cakes that I have found in this part of the Algarve.Also, considering how prices have gone up recently his price increases for the last two years have been moderate !I would like to give more than 5 stars.
Their pasteis de nata are utterly divine, full of custard, and we got them fresh out the oven this morning - so so good! I'd even go so far as to say the best ones I've had in Portugal to date
