It is an English restaurant in Portugal. This is the exact description of this place. We were looking for a local food place, but the problem is that it was Sunday and everything was closed and the only place that was open was this one, without knowing what it was. The staff were English, the customers were English and the food was English. We felt strange there, there were no Portuguese anywhere. Simple and unpretentious food which took a long time to serve. Service a little poor (the cooks, somewhat disheveled, constantly came out to smoke a cigarette next to us). Price according to what was served. I would not go back

Sunday lunch was very good. The atmosphere was only 4 stars as it was quite cold under the tent. Cannot change the weather. So this time of the year wear something warm.

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant and were warmly greeted by friendly staff who provided very prompt service. For starters, we ordered Cajun chicken, followed by fish and chips. The food was superb, with the Cajun chicken being particularly tender and juicy. We'll definitely return to try out other dishes soon.

We have been here several times over the years and yet again we were not disappointed.The service is brilliant nothing is to much bother even when they are busy The food is freshly cooked and they will adapt anything within reason. Very generous portions so beware to leave room for a dessert. All washed down with a lovely bottle of wine.

Very cute place and kinda of tucked away, however the food, the service and the ambiance is excellent! Highly recommend the Sunday roast, it's absolutely delicious. Eric the owner mends the bar and hosts and Sarah - his wife is amazing cook. Very welcoming, definitely will be back next time we're in the area.
