We tried the suckling pig there today. It's best to stay away from it!
My conclusion about suckling pig: it doesn't taste good, the skin is hard to bite through, ridiculously tiny portions, most of which are bones and skin, hardly any meat. Very expensive for the quality and quantity - 27 euros per person (with drink and a few chips). Unfriendly conditions on top. No comparison to suckling pig in Croatia.
And what borders on fraud: you are asked for a few olives, bread and butter without asking. You think it would be a nice gesture to bridge the waiting time. At the end there is a nasty surprise: €2.50 per person!!! This is how you earn your tips from naive tourists. Simply outrageous! ?

Without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant in the Algarve. The service was unbelievably bad, zero friendliness and very very slow. No! The restaurant wasn't full, but they managed to take 40 minutes to take the order and bring the drinks. The size of the portion is very questionable, we ordered 1 and a half portions, the table next to us ordered 1 portion and both were the same size, but we paid for 1 and a half. I won't go back or recommend it, I don't trust it and I won't go to a restaurant to get bad service. Unfortunate!!

This place used to be very good but the prices have just got silly. Bought a a takeout for 1 and it cost 20+ Euros for 4 small pieces of meat. Not really enough to feed 1 satisfactory. See photo showing the dose. The portions are "tapas" but the prices aren't!

The suckling pig is very good, roasted whole on a spit. The house sparkling wine is raw and tasty. The kitchen is impeccable, clean and always shining, everything was well organized and organized by the couple. I went to get it home. It's not cheap and they're not very small, each piglet is good enough for 12 people

Very good suckling pig, the sauce was very good but a little salty. Typical decor and very nice boss.
Small downside for the starters that we put on the table and the water (payable as everywhere) that we serve to you over and over again.
We still had a nice time.
