Beautiful restaurant a little off the beaten path in a wonderful garden. A typical family business, everyone helps out. Excellent food at fair prices. Sitting outside in the garden under the open sky, good food, good company... what more could you want.

We had a table reserved, we had to confirm our reservation at the restaurant on the same day. Our table wasn't even ready yet... we waited 40 minutes for some clams that were served in a small bowl, unlike the photo on Instagram, where they present a beautiful plate of clams. For €20 I was expecting more.
We ordered the meat medium, it arrived undercooked - we waited again for the food. The potatoes were not homemade as it said on the menu. The salad we ordered never arrived at our table.
After complaining, I still had to hear that it was normal at this time here in the Algarve to have to wait longer for food. I can say that since I've been here on vacation I've gone out to dinner several times and nothing like this has ever happened to me.

A must do restaurant if you’re anywhere in a radius of 30km of this place. Excellent fresh seafood, delicious grilled meat cuts and a great selection of wines and drinks.
Super service, great location and very friendly staff. Do reserve upfront if you want to have a table!

High expectations but disappointed. Very poor food, farmed fish and tasteless with lots of olive oil and garlic to disguise it without success. To accompany it, it was the house specialty, razor clam rice, the result being, as with the clams starter, all the bivalves were frozen, which gave a very unusual flavor to the famous dish. Service was poor, with employees having communication difficulties and some lack of knowledge of the menu. In the end €110 for a meal that was far below criticism.
A magazine restaurant! Provided with a welcoming environment and good reception, nothing more than that. The service and quality of the meal for the price charged falls short of the expectations created by its environment. There are better ones with fewer colors nearby! Very show off! In the end, drinking an medronho from the Alentejo meander mountain range when it is a typical product of the region, reveals a total lack of interest in the good management that a restaurant of this caliber deserves! They should look better.

This is the best restaurant me and my family have ever been to, we visited a few years back now and will not go to Portugal without coming to this restaurant, I don't believe the negative reviews, I don't think they are capable of poor service. One thing I would like to know if we visit Portugal again is it possible to book while in the UK, via email for example, we would be utterly disappointed if we couldn't get in.
We have eaten all over the world and I will say it again, this is the best place we have ever eaten, cant speak highly enough of this place.

Really good food, nothing cheap There was only 1 black super bock. Strange to say the least for this restaurant. 1 luso water 1/2l. €3.00 charged as a pelegrini!!!!

The food was very tasty, the terrace is very beautiful and pleasant! The (Portuguese) staff was extremely friendly, however, a foreign staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.
