Unfriendly place, maintaining the same performance as always. Boss not very affable and not at all condescending when it comes to any extra requests. Even asking for a "thimble" of digestive to finish the sweet, he says that you have to ask for 1/2 or a dose. Achieve fame and go to sleep. The saying is very Portuguese. They fall like mockingbirds.

Top 3 suckling pigs in the Lisbon region.
In my top 5 nationally. I confess that I know a lot of them across the country.
Parking: Parking within the parameters for a location near Lisbon. With calm, patience and good will everything can be resolved. During the week it is peaceful.

A fantastic place, good piglet, excellent, very professional service. And for me, eventually hygiene in the bathrooms. I loved it and will do it again.

A great option for suckling pig in the Bairrada style in the metropolitan area of Lisbon. Just outside Loures on national highway 9, there is a village that has this little hidden treasure.
Our visit was on Mother's Day, so the restaurant was super crowded. No tables left at 12:30pm. We had to wait but it was worth it.
The take-away here is very strong. I only saw people taking piglets to eat at home.
The food is good, the suckling pig is of very good quality. With a crispy skin, well roasted and with a great flavor, it is a good meal. The doses are generous.
It's a place that I've already added to my favorites and we'll definitely go back there.

5-star food and very friendly staff, but the experience can sometimes not be so good because it is so busy and the space is not very large. I recommend booking a table and avoiding the busiest days. ?

Very good in every respect ?, service, sommelier advice, dessert, everything was perfect. A little noisy but that’s the Portuguese atmosphere ?
The leitao is excellent. Be careful of the egg almond dessert, special and disgusting but the pudding extra ?

Restaurantji Recommends
I don't recommend it, today I went with my parents, I arrived a little after 12:00 and there were no tables available, it seems that they are only interested in booking people, even if they come in 2 hours, sometimes they don't even show up, never one A restaurant can live solely on reservations, it's not beneficial for the establishment itself, I work in a restaurant and I know what I'm talking about, having to wait 2 hours when I come at 12 is surreal, only fools wait that long, me at most 30 minutes , they said 2 hours, I left straight away, never there again.
It was my fault, because I was the one who asked my parents to go eat suckling pig, I ended up acting like a bear, 12 o'clock and you can't eat anywhere, without making a reservation, if my restaurant closed after 12, I would be plot of life.
Besides, it is very difficult to park there, the street is too narrow to park cars, nothing is inviting, luckily I don't need to go to restaurants, otherwise I would be spoiled for life, they won't even pay for the beauty.

A little out of the way, in a side street to a national road out of Loures behind a facade that appears to be just a village café, this gem of a traditional restaurant offers a cosy and quaintly theme decorated ambiance with a small specialised menu, an absolutely fabulously priced wine list and efficient service, which fx. means that if you book you get to sit at the end of the room well protected from the queuing at the door.
We were two go or lunch with delicious fresh goat cheese, freshly baked crunchy bread, delicious crunchy & spicy Leitão’s & fries, a Santar red wine, a Molotov and a Baba with coffee and water for €60!
We will be back for sure!!
