Today we went to eat snails and they are actually very good, however, one of us ordered grilled cuttlefish which came with boiled potatoes and green beans. It took an hour and a half to arrive and we watched them put the dish in the microwave and take it out. They tasted really bad and the potatoes were super dry. The table that arrived after us received snails first after we had waited 40 minutes.
Terrible service and when confronted about the cuttlefish, the cook gave us the middle finger.
I used to love going there, never again.

A great traditional Portuguese restaurant. The Bifana meal was good. Fresh bread. Local wine. Excellent all round. I visited a few times. Good food always. The steak was very good with rice and chips. A beautiful plain salad was perfect. The dish of the day is a good choice to get a flavour of traditional food. Friendly staff were very helpful with my limited Portuguese. The atmosphere here was brilliant, a truly Local restaurant. If you want to experience Portugal, visit. Need to return for a traditional Goat stew. Fast food is also available. Prices were good & not expensive. Family run place for many years, I recommend this place very highly.
