Avenida Café is located in the center of Lourinhã and stands out for being a well-decorated space with an informal atmosphere and friendly service. On this visit I started with Bread, Olives and a dish of Black Pork Loin Paio. For the main dish, the house specialty, that is, the rare Beef Bitoque with Fried Egg, Pickles, Olives and accompanied by good French Fries. The steak is thin, the meat is tender and the sauce is quite tasty. There was also a small, well-seasoned Mixed Salad. I accompanied the meal with Stout Beer and finished with a great Rocha Pear Jam, Chocolate Mousse and DOC Brandy from Lourinhã. Meal around €20. Very good!

Very pleasant "tavern" restaurant, nice setting, impeccable service with friendly staff, (too bad we don't speak Portuguese better), for us, no waiting except for the table on the terrace, but the wait at the bar with a few tapas puts us in the mood. The fried squid are excellent. My tuna is impeccably cooked, only downside is the octopus served at the table "baths" a little too much in oil. Affordable prices overall for a tourist period. I recommend

For the first time I went to dinner with my family and was poorly received. With 2 children and 1 baby in a stroller, they wanted to sit us on the terrace with a vacant table inside, as we didn't accept it, they moved 3 tables in front of us (4 seats), this is unacceptable because anywhere they give us the right to priority. We really liked the space and the bars, we have been customers for a few years but honestly we have no desire to come back and continue to be. We can understand the logistics of a stroller occupying it, but given the interior space is small, we didn't see the need for this to happen. Unfortunate. Of course we left and didn't wait for another half hour for a few more tables to pass by.

My partner and I came on vacation to visit Lourinhã... and we came here for dinner twice in a row... that says it all... we came the first time and we simply loved everything, friendliness, professionalism, very well prepared food so we came back with the greatest joy and we were treated very well once again,... we recommend it, excellent... we will definitely be back... greetings to everyone and never change... they are spectacular in the service they provide both in the kitchen and at the tables. A jewel located in the center of Lourinhã. Excellent food and spectacular white wine on tap. The service is very attentive and the opening hours are quite good for those who like to eat outside of rush hours.
Parking: It can be a little difficult to find parking depending on the day as it is located in a central location.
