Cosmos Pizza offers delicious vegetarian and vegan pizzas, including a tasty vegan garlic bread option. The restaurant features a friendly server and owner who provide great service, speaking good English and offering helpful recommendations. The menu currently includes one vegan pizza with vegan cheese, cherry tomato slices, whole olives (only a few, which are perfect), red onion, and mushroom. The pizza is not overloaded and has a great crust. While more options would be welcome, especially in Portugal, where land of meat, fish, dairy, and wine, this place is considered absolutely fantastic. The "Serrana" pizza stands out as one of the best recently eaten, with a thin and crispy dough made just as it should be, and comes highly recommended. The restaurant is a nice little spot in the middle of Lousã, with very good pizza, delicious dessert, and very friendly service. Although it may seem inconspicuous from the outside, it is definitely worth a visit for a simple and satisfying meal.
