We had Agorda for dinner with prawns, a hamburger and for dessert pavlova with red fruits. Everything was delicious, the prawns in particular. They don't have csrta in Spanish, but they are very friendly and help you.
You have to go slowly because they take time to cook the dishes.
Highly recommended, quality food. ??

A big disappointment. I went to visit this restaurant because of the positive reviews I saw, but in fact there is nothing like trying it. I didn't like it at all! The food is not made on the day which for me is unacceptable. The doses are quite small. And the quality of the dishes is nothing extraordinary compared to the prices charged. We ordered 2 starters (minimum), the cod migas (after 1 minute it was already cold as it is not freshly cooked but probably heated in a microwave), wild boar (the meat was quite dry, I think for the same reason) and the chanfana (it was good but it's a super small dose), we also ordered a sangria (quite good) and a cornbread pudding (the best of the meal). It was an average of €40 per person. Expensive for the quality and for heated food. This price would have been acceptable if we had been satisfied, which was not the case. The restaurant inside is cute and the service is good. Price/quality does not match. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, warm, typical meal.

I won't be able to answer whether I liked it or didn't like it as it was not possible to eat in the restaurant. Upon entering the door, the waiter came to the door to assist us and when searching on Telm he said that the tables had only been reserved for an hour and that he was unable to attend, but with a small child it was better not to wait. And he immediately directed us to the door saying that we could go eat at the restaurants opposite. We went to a restaurant opposite and after about 20 minutes I had to go to the car to get my son a toy and to my surprise the room only had one more table occupied, that is, 2 tables occupied in the room in total. Clearly note the selection of people who can be served in the restaurant. Continued excellent service but my presence will no longer count. And congratulations on the service at Restaurante Avó, an excellent and welcoming restaurant.

Super calm and welcoming environment. Very well decorated space with great taste.
Great food, very well prepared, despite the dishes being complex and very well served.
Very friendly and available service.
Ps- the desserts are a real temptation, they are divine!!!

Very special Portuguese dishes prepared with passion. Not the traditional dishes you will find everywhere. The quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail all make it very worthy of eating here. The service was excellent too. A modern but cosy ambiance with a clear attention to serving some of the best wines of Portugal.
Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu. The burger was a hit but the WiFi is woefully slow if you want to keep kids entertained on iPads!

Really really good and honest food. Probably the best restaurant in Lousa. The service was impeccable. We were surprised how the restaurant wasn’t full in a Saturday night! But I guess this can happen in a small village like Lousa.

This is without a doubt the best restaurant in the central region. I can also admit that it is one of the best places I have ever eaten. From start to finish of the meal, nothing goes wrong. I highly recommend starting with the olive oil tasting, followed by the prawns bread and/or the mountain octopus feijoada. For a vegan meal, seitan is wonderful. Today we came to try the chanfana, and it is without a doubt the best I've ever eaten. The sparkling wine sangria is excellent, and the wines are excellent. Dessert is the icing on the cake. I always leave here very pleased.

Certainly the best address in Lousã for dinner.a menu with traditional dishes revisited and well presented, a selection of exceptional wines made by the sommelier who is also the restaurant's director. We went back twice during our weekend to try different dishes.I recommend it and we will be back.Congratulations to you and thank you ?

Attentive service despite our arrival at the restaurant after the kitchen closed. The steak was very well cooked and the atmosphere was very pleasant with calming background music ??Also worth mentioning is the spicy Habanero sauce. Spicy, fruity and sweet.

the local dishes of cheese and honey followed by medallions of wild boar were fantastic. House red wine is very agreeable.

We went there to dinner, during the Autumn Fest, so I’m not really sure our menu was the same as it is the rest of the year. But the 2 vegan options were a Fusilli pasta and Seitan with chestnuts. We picked the latter and it was very well served and tasty. We also ordered a bag of bread and 3 different olive oils to dip. There was also an entry dish of salted mushrooms and another with orange, that we didn’t order. I recommend for vegan and vegetarians going through Lousã
