Went onto Tripadvisor to look at the reviews for the restaurant and went as a result of the positive reviews. NOT disappointed the service was brilliant and the food was equally brilliant. Was quieter as it was January but will definitely be back on our next visit here. Thank you x

It was exactly what we expected and hoped for. Just like a Cantonese-Chinese restaurant back home. The food was delicious, the staff were charming, they gave us a glass of port at the end. We love Royal Garden ❤️

It's ok, not the best Chinese meal we have eaten (average takeaway quality), most protion sizes are good apart from boiled rice for some reason, which came in a tiny bowl.

Arrived just after 7pm as a party of 6 and we were reluctant to go in because it was empty. However, recent positive reviews along with the fact that we've visited here many times prior to the COVID situation, encouraged us to go in. We were not disappointed. Good choice, good food, good service and good prices. Would recommend and would visit again. The barbecue ribs were lovely. The Hot and Sour soup equally good.
I don’t understand some comments about “this is not typical Chinese food” but as a guest from Taiwan I think I know what is “Chinese Food”. The food here is definitely typical Chinese food. Of course you will not expect the “luxury & fancy” Chinese food here but in my opinion they offer the kind of Chinese food which I eat in my home daily. And I am happy I find this good restaurant in town(I visited here everyday during my stay). The staff here are really helpful to lightly customize the food for my son (he has allergies and picky for food). Anyway, I truly recommend this place for you.
