My favourite chicken piri piri in Algarve with amazing tomato salad. Everything was delicious, as always. There was a beautiful autumn decoration in the restaurant and I received fruit as a gift. These were the most delicious pomegranates I have ever eaten. Thank you very much :-)

Food was top-notch. Chicken mildly spicy but excellent flavour. One of the best Piri Pire we’ve had in the Algarve. The service was also excellent, best service we’ve had in our four weeks here. Also a lovely little glass of Port to finish the lunch. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Been coming to the Algarve for nearly 30 years and a trip to Ramires is an absolute must! No frills, simple menu, but great tasty Food, quick service and even better value!

We have been coming to Ramires for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. Don't visit expecting an amazing looking place, but do come If you love piri piri chicken, as this is the best place to come. Can't recommend Ramires enough...Even my chicken hating uncle loved it.

We have been to Ramires before and love the food. The Piri Piri chicken is awesome (spicy version chosen). You get a lot of lovely chips and a fantastic tomato salad to go with it, The tables are arranged as trestles so you can be sitting with or very near others but this just adds to the brilliant atmosphere. It can get very busy but the service is always exemplary! We had the cover of bread butter and olives, Piri Piri and even a desert from the chiller. Best in the Algarve in our opinion. Absolute bargain too!

Quiet and off the beaten track but so friendly and he has a way with gin and tonics! A real relaxed atmosphere and we will be back.

I would describe the food here as very basic fare. We went on recommendation that the piri piri chicken was excellent. What we actually got was cut up burnt chicken including all the bones that was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t. It came with a pile of fries and a tomato salad, nothing else. Deserts are on offer but are awful and should be avoided. Very rushed service as this is a restaurant that believes in getting customers in and out as quickly as possible. Not the kind of restaurant we would rate any higher than a 2 unfortunately.

We arrived (family of four adults) at 20:45 on a Friday night and there was quite a lot of people queueing up outside. I put my name down and asked how long to wait and was told 10 to 15 minutes which I was amazed at as there was a very large crowd outside. Anyway after 20 minutes we were called and the proceeded to have a fantastic meal the chicken (spicy) was so juicy and tasty and the chips and salad the perfect accompaniments that and the draught Sagres. We finished the meal with desserts that were delicious and an Irish coffee. All superb and the bill was just over €100. This is highly recommended and we felt it very worth the taxi ride from Carvoeiro.

Wow, if you’re a chicken lover then this is the place to eat. A simple menu - chicken, spicy or not and away you go. Really cheap for what you get - pardon the pun. Please try this place
